Elementary School Supply Lists Available
The Class Supply lists are now posted on the school doors and are also on display at Kootenai Drug, Pamida, & Wal-Mart.

Elementary School Class Lists to be Posted
Class Lists will be posted by August 4th. The office will be open starting August 11th if you would like to pick up a copy of a supply list, register a kindergartner/new student or just want to stop in and say hi.

Sports Physicals
All athletes must have a physical examination before the first day of practice as per Montana High School Association rules. This examination must be certified by a physician, a physician assistant, or a nurse practitioner and is valid for one calendar year.

FREE AND REDUCED BREAKFAST AND LUNCH APPLICATIONS
Applications for the free/reduced breakfast and lunch program are available at both school offices. Please remember to fill these out, as much of our Federal funding is based upon our level of free and reduced lunch counts.

EMERGENCY SCHOOL CLOSURE NOTIFICATION
Emergency school closure will normally be the result of bad weather developing during the school day or a result of a varied number of other potential emergencies.
Children residing within Troy city limits will be dismissed o proceed home. Bus children will be loaded and transported to their respective bus drop location. Each fall the administrative office develops an emergency telephone tree for each bus route. The telephone tree is activated to notify parents prior to an emergency school dismissal.
Emergency school closures caused by bad weather or road conditions will be determined by 7:00am daily. Parents are urged to call their respective bus drivers at home for a current report.
Reports will appear on Spokane stations KXLY, Q6 and KREM. Kalispell station KCFW.
 
FREE HEALTH INSURANCE FOR TROY CHILDREN
Many uninsured families in Troy may not realize that they qualify for health insurance for their children. In Montana, a family of four can earn up to $36,000 a year and qualify for CHIP (Children's Health Insurance Program). Eligibility is based upon family size and income. The Toll Free number is 1-877-543-7669, or visit the website at  www.chip.state.mt.us. There is currently no waiting list for the CHIP Program!

SENIOR CITIZENS PASSES FOR ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS
Senior citizen residents of the district, persons 62 years of age or older, upon request will be given a senior citizen guest pass. A senior citizen guest pass shall permit the holder to attend all school activities free of charge. Holders must present the pass at the door of each activity. Passes may be obtained by calling Mrs. Roxanne Winslow, secretary at the high school, (Phone: 295-4520), or at the door/gate of any ball game. A new pass is required at the beginning of every school year.
The senior citizen activity pass represents a small token of appreciation from the Board of Trustees to all senior citizens for their community support and contributions over the years.
