History:

Lincoln County Transportation Service is the direct result of a federal mandate requiring all transportation providers to pool their resources and create a county wide coordinated transportation service to serve all residents with nondiscretionary 5311 funds. LCTS was formed from a coalition of the three senior centers in Lincoln County, Achievements, Inc and Troy Christian Fellowship.

Lincoln County Transportation is a non-profit service organization under the umbrella of the Senior Citizens of Lincoln County. It operates with two boards, LCTS Board of Directors and the community based Transportation Advisory Committee (TAC) Board.
